Booking Terms & Conditions

Booking Online

Customers can book parking online with Q-Park in advance of travelling to their destination in a number of selected parking facilities across Ireland. Online booking is available via www.q-park.ie. For operational reasons, not all Q-Park parking facilities are available to book online. Customers can check which facilities provide online booking via this website. From time to time, our website may be down for routine maintenance during which time online bookings will not be possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Booking Process

A customer can chose from a number of online parking products available for their selected parking facility. Upon completion of their online booking during which they will be asked to provide some biographical and contact information, customers will receive a confirmation email (and SMS if requested) which provides a summary of their online booking, location of the parking facility and instructions for arrival at and departure from the car park. It is extremely important that a customer provides proof of this confirmation upon arrival at the parking facility, otherwise Q-Park reserve the right not to honour an online booking. Payment

Currently, customers can pay online by Visa, MasterCard, or Visa Debit.

Parking Facility

All online booking customers are subject to the Q-Park General Terms & Conditions which can be found below. While booking an online parking product guarantees a customer access to their chosen parking facility, we cannot always guarantee, especially during high demand periods such as the lead up to Christmas, that a customer will gain access immediately and we wish to advise that there may be queues upon arrival at the car park. Q-Park strongly advises our online customers, especially during these periods, to arrive as early as possible at their chosen parking facility to avoid delays at entry. Q-Park staff on-site in our parking facilities work hard to avoid unnecessary delays however most of our parking facilities dispose of only one entry lane therefore delays are not always avoidable during peak periods.

Same Day Bookings

Q-Park provides a facility for customers to book their parking on the same day they are intending to park in a number of selected facilities. Customers can check which facilities are available for same day booking via this website. As per above, access to the car park for same day bookings may not always be immediate and we advise same day customers to arrive as early as possible. In addition, if a customer arrives AFTER the start time of the parking product that they have purchased, entry will be permitted but no refund will be provided for the period of time that has elapsed.

Available Spaces Online

For operational reasons, each parking facility has a limited number of spaces available for online booking. Q-Park reserves the right to alter this limit as required.

Online Security

Our customers personal data is safe. Every booking is completed via SSL protocol. In addition, Q-Park will not use our customers contact information for marketing purposes unless a customer expressly choses during the online booking process to opt-in to receive communication from Q-Park.

Cancelling/Amending Online Bookings

Unfortunately online bookings cannot be cancelled and Q-Park do not provide refunds, except in extraordinary circumstances. A refund will be provided solely at the discretion of Q-Park Ireland. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read carefully. This is a safety notice with conditions that may affect your legal rights. Everyone entering a Q-Park car park is bound by the Terms and Conditions and entry to the car park will bind them to these Terms and Conditions. They must follow the procedures outlined in these Terms & Conditions and obey the directions displayed on signs, notices, markings, etc.

Please remember that our Car Parks are open to the public and it is not possible to guarantee the security of your vehicle and its contents.

DEFINITIONS

"The Company" means the operating companies and the management company and all companies associated with it and its lessees, and all other persons having any propriety or other interest in the Car Park. "The Customer" means any person who uses the Car Park whether by him or herself, or his or her servants or agents or as servant or agent for anybody else and any person having any propriety, possessors, financial or material interest in the vehicle. "Entrant" means any natural person who enters or is in the Car Park whether or not the Customer. Except where expressly qualified person includes companies, firms and associates incorporated or un-incorporated; words in singular shall where applicable include the plural, and words incorporating a masculine meaning shall include a feminine and neuter meaning.

SPEED LIMIT

There is a maximum speed limit in all Q-Park Car Parks of 15 K.P.H.

SECURITY

Before leaving the Car park, Customers are strongly recommended to ensure that your vehicle is securely locked and that all windows in the vehicle are securely closed; and if the vehicle is fitted with security devices, please ensure that they are working and have been activated; and if you have to leave possessions in the vehicle, do not leave them in plain sight, e.g. on a seat. They should be locked in the boot or trunk.

Customers are reminded that their motor insurance policies may not cover possessions in vehicle.

SAFETY

Car Parks can be dangerous and all persons must drive carefully in the Car Park and observe the rules of the road and park only inside a clearly marked space and proceed immediately to nearest exit, stairs or lift lobby and leave the Car Park directly. Customers must obey directional signs and be extra careful with children. Keep children under close supervision and do not permit them to play or run about in the Car Park and please deposit all litter in litter bins provided.

Should you damage any vehicle in the Car park, you are requested to report the matter immediately to the Car Park Control Office and give details of registration, insurance, etc. The Company shall have the right to move any vehicle by driving or otherwise within or outside the Car Park at the Company's sole discretion.

LEGAL RELATIONS

The Company is only providing a space for parking your vehicle and the fee is solely in proportion to the time spent in the Car Park. The Company therefore has no obligation to maintain custody over the vehicle or its contents.

The Company, its servants and agents shall not be liable in respect of any loss or mis-delivery of or damage to the vehicle, howsoever, save where the same may be caused by the negligence or breach of statutory duty, of the Company, its servants or agents (in the case of the Company only) the dishonesty of its servants or agents.

The Company, its servants and agents shall not be liable in respect of death or personal injury sustained by the entrant howsoever the same may be caused save where the same may be caused by the negligence or breach of statutory duty of the Company, its servants or agents.

The customer will indemnify the Company against all claims, demands and costs whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the presence of the vehicle in the Car park unless the Customer shall prove that the loss, damage, death or injury the subject of the matter of such claims or demand was caused solely by the negligence or breach of statutory duty of the Company, its servants or agents. Every person who enters into contract with the Company for the parking of a vehicle at the Car Park, whether by purchasing a ticket or otherwise does so on behalf of him/herself and all other customers (as herein defined) and warrants his/her authority to so contract.

TICKETS

The ticket which is issued is applicable only to the vehicle in respect of which it is issued and does not entitle the Customer to any particular space in the Car Park or to priority over other Customers.

FEES

Parking fees are displayed on the Tariff Board at the entrance to the Car Park and may be altered from time to time at the sole discretion of the Company. The prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. In default of production of a ticket the Company may refuse to release the vehicle until it has made such enquiries as it may determine. In this regard, the Company may require the Customer to provide proof of ownership of the vehicle, proof of identity and to complete and sign such declarations as the Company may deem appropriate for the release of the vehicle. Customers who cannot produce their ticket on departure will be charged the full daily rate for the day of departure plus any charges for previous days parked in the Car Park.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

No vehicle should be towed into the Car Park and no work or cleaning of the vehicle shall be done in the Car Park except by authorised servants or agents. No activity in connection with the selling, hiring or the disposal of the vehicle shall be carried out in the Car park.

ALTERATION

No person has any authority to vary or alter these Terms and Conditions unless such variation is in writing under the hand of the Company's Secretary.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

Q-Park is committed to ensuring your privacy is protected. This privacy statement sets out how Q-Park protects any information that you disclose when using the website. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. By using this website, you unconditionally agree to be bound by this privacy statement.

Q-Park collects and processes information in order to:

Process requests or applications
Improve Q-Park services and websites
Carry out research on the demographics, interests and behaviour of visitors
Send information to you which we think you may find useful, including information about new Q-Park products and services

From time to time you may be asked for personal information. You are under no obligation to provide this information, however, if you choose not to you may not be able to take full advantage of Q-Park’s services.

When you visit our website, we automatically log your IP address which is recognised by our web server. We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and to audit the use of our site. We will not link your IP address to anything that will enable us to identify you.

We may periodically collect non-personal information from you, such as the type of internet browser you use or the site from which you linked to our website. This information is only used to assist us in providing an effective service and is not personally identifiable.

A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard drive in order to store and track information. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer, however you may not be able to take full advantage of our website if you do so. Cookies are specific to the server that created them and cannot be accessed by other servers, which means they cannot be used to track your movements around the web. Although they do identify a user's computer, cookies do not personally identify customers or passwords.

We use cookies for the following reasons:

Q-Park will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties. However, we may disclose your personal information to third party suppliers who provide services on our behalf.

Q-Park may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or if it believes that such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights, property or personal safety of Q-Park and its website, visitors to the website and customers.
